Five Nights at Freddy’s, a series best known for its popularization of mascot-related horror and a storyline that keeps its fan community heavily invested. While it can be quite complicated at times, each choice has its own meaning and is vital to unravelling the mystery associated with the animatronics. After years spent vindicating Purple Man, revealed as William Afton, now about to be put away by a copycat killer or… literal Mimic, FNAF’s plot doesn’t tell the story of that famous bite for a long time. But with each new instalment from Scott himself, there are plenty of questions that the public awaits with unbearable impatience, waiting to confirm or disprove their wild fan theories. The Ruin DLC for Security Breach is one of those that answers a lot of questions, but also hides a lot of secrets, just like the basic game. Here’s a recounting of all the secrets in the DLC FNAF: Security Breach – Ruin.
What secrets in the Ruin DLC provide confirmation for the canonical ending of Security Breach?
The Ruin DLC secrets provide many confirmations for the canonical ending of Security Breach. The visibility of the Blob at the end of the staircase, located behind the broken wall and among the rubble in Chapter 1, provides confirmation of the ending. Other clues pointing to this ending include the damaged Prison Quest slot machine in the room before the ventilation entrance in Chapter 8.
What information confirms the Glamrock Bonnie murder case in light of the Ruin DLC?
Scott confirmed the Glamrock Bonnie murder case through the appearance of his corpse at the back of the bowling alley. Deactivating all the “Wet on the Floor” signs around his corpse causes his eyes to lose power, suggesting that Bonnie’s light went out when the power source was removed. The question, however, is – who put them there to keep Bonnie in an active state?
The Secret Dialogues Does the V.A.N.N.I mask reveal
The V.A.N.N.I mask is a key gameplay element in the Ruin DLC. In addition to the long-term effects on Cassie, the previous wearer of the mask, the mask can be used to reveal another side of the animatronics in the game. With a heartfelt message left by Roxanne as a request for help, unique and secret dialogues of other animatronics can be found. In a conversation with the Daycare Assistant (Sun & Moon) with a face mask, you’ll hear a new line that says it’s not safe until you turn on the second generator. This secret phrase highlights that Daycare Assistant doesn’t have full control over your body because of Mimic, but it wants you to be safe because it doesn’t want to hurt you.
hidden details in the Ruin DLC about the Chica icon
The icon and legend of Chica returns in the DLC, but not in the way you might think. In Chapter 4, you can find her slot machine in so many Ladies’ Toilets. However, arcade games like Chica’s Feeding Frenzy don’t provide any information about the ending, they’re simply a commercialized way to capitalize on the bite that Chica worked on the first child victim in Freddy’s Pizzeria. By defeating 20 waves, however, players can get Chica’s Voice Box, which can be directly used to repair Chica in the game in Chapter 5.
Where can Secret Plushies and Toys be found?
At the end of Ruins, you can find Gregory’s backpack, perfectly clean and standing upright amidst all the rubble surrounding it. Other items, such as a plush version of Marionette, can be found in the escape sequence from Mimic. When going to the elevator, instead of going right, go left towards the giant fan, and the plushie can be found behind the cardboard boxes in the corner of the corridor. The same plushie can be found in the warehouse, although it is much easier to find than another.
What Secret Scenes Reveal About the time between Security Breach and Ruin?
The new mechanics in the DLC not only offer unique insights into the true feelings of the animatronics, but you can also find details indicating the time between Security Breach and Ruin. It is when you deactivate the scissor transition to move to the next area in Chapter 5 that you will see an image of Gregory with Cassie. However, when you deactivate the scissors, the image will change to pictures of the missing children with Gregory as one of them. The question is – are these images real or were they implanted by Mimic to manipulate Cassie?
What is the Information Related to the Candy Cadet?
Candy Cadet, a unique part of FNAF with many fans following her distinct story, can be found at the end of the Ruin DLC. Stopping and listening to it through interaction until you can no longer use the “E” key, you’ll hear a very creepy story described by the Cadet about a lullaby mimicked by a monster, using it to lure a boy away from his mother. My first thoughts were of Freddy Fazbear and the song he plays in the first FNAF game, but after a little research I can’t confirm this idea.
The Mimic costumes mean in the ending?
The Mimik costumes are the final secrets in the Ruin DLC, which makes sense in the context of the mysterious ending of the FNAF: Ruin DLC. The scooper ending shows Mimik as the main antagonist. The DLC links Mimik to his origin story, about how he killed a group of workers and wore costumes in an attempt to disguise himself and pretend to be human. His killer instinct was copied by his creator Edwin Murray after he tried to destroy him in a rage after he copied his dead son’s mannerisms and appearance. Mimic takes up residence in the basement, as seen at the end. But around the basement you can find secret mascot costumes, which Mimik took to create the outfit seen in the scooper ending.
