Love and Deepspace is a highly anticipated otome game set in a science fiction environment with impressive 3D graphics. For those unfamiliar, an otome game is a dating simulation game targeted primarily at a female audience. In Love and Deepspace, you play as a heroine who eventually meets several handsome men, each with their own story and skills.
The game has recently opened closed beta testing on Android in a limited number of countries. If you want to try it out, you can check the Google Play Store to try the beta version or pre-register for the full release. Pre-registering ensures you receive exclusive rewards when the game officially launches, so make sure not to miss out.
In this beginner’s guide, we’ll dive into the world of Love and Deepspace and cover everything you need to know about this title. We’ll look at gameplay elements, characters, and more!
Character Creation
Love and Deepspace allows you to create your own female character and offers the opportunity to try to match her appearance to yourself for a fully immersive otome experience.

You can customize four main aspects of your character’s appearance: skin, hair, face, and makeup. The game provides numerous presets in each category to start building your character. Interestingly, you can even allow the game to scan your face to match your character’s appearance as closely as possible. You also have the option to scan QR codes containing submitted face data.
Character customization is very detailed, allowing you to adjust aspects such as facial dimensions, eye color, makeup intensity, and even voice pitch. Creating your character can take several hours. Once you’ve finished creating her, it’s time to meet the male protagonists of the game.
Male Main Roles
Love and Deepspace features three male protagonists. They serve not only as romantic interests throughout the game but also as companions during combat. Each hero possesses a special elemental skill known as “Evol” that can aid in battle.
Xavier – “My light shines only for you”
- Age: Unknown
- Profession: Abyssal Hunter
- Evol: Light
Zayne – “I’ve lived long enough in endless winter. If you come closer, then…”
- Age: 24
- Profession: Cardiothoracic Surgeon
- Evol: Ice
Rafayel – “Do you really think the hell beneath the waves can’t be stormy?”
- Age: 27
- Profession: Artist
- Evol: Fire
Sylus – New character coming out July 15th- “Ah, the night’s just getting started.”
- Namee: Sylus
- Age: 28
- Height: 6’2
- Job: Onychinus’s leader
- Evol: Energy manipulation
Combat with Aliens
Despite being primarily a dating simulator, Love and Deepspace features a full-action combat system where you fight galactic aliens called “Wanderers” alongside your male companion. This is because you play as an abyssal hunter from the Hunter’s Association (one of the main heroes is also a hunter).
Gameplay takes place from a third-person perspective. Your character has several basic actions at their disposal:
- Basic Attack – A quick attack dealing minor damage.
- Dodge – Avoid an enemy attack. Use the directional pad to dodge in a specific direction.
- Active Skill – Releases the active skill of the companion. The active skill is a very powerful attack that enters a cooldown period after use.
- Resonance Skill – Releases Evol. A highly destructive attack usually used to finish off enemies. This skill is performed together with the main companion.
For combat segments in Love and Deepspace, you can use a gamepad as BlueStacks natively supports them. Additionally, you can freely customize the controls on your keyboard and mouse using the control editor.
Wishing System
Love and Deepspace has a gacha system called “Wishes”. Making wishes unlocks various memories of the main heroes. You can make either 1 or 10 wishes at a time.

Memories can be thought of as different variants of the three male leads. The quality of a memory is dictated by the number of stars it has. The more stars, the stronger the “memory” or character variant. For example, Xavier might have one memory called “Xavier: A Break” with three stars and another memory called “Xavier: Garden of Secrets” with four stars.
Wishes can be made in two different categories. In the Xspace Echo category, you can primarily obtain memories with an average number of stars, which will likely help you get through the first set of story stages. In the Eternal Dream category, you can obtain much better memories compared to Xspace Echo, but the items required to make a wish in this category are much rarer. Regardless of the category, the game guarantees a 5-star memory after a total of 70 wishes (pulls).

The attributes of these memories can be enhanced and ranked to make them stronger. Memory EXP materials are used to upgrade memories. Enhancing increases stats such as HP, ATK, DEF, and CRIT RATE.
When it comes to gacha systems like this, using the multi-instance tool for rerolling is useful. Rerolling essentially involves using multiple accounts to obtain desired characters (or in this case, memories). The multi-instance tool makes rerolling easier by allowing you to create multiple Android instances that can run different Love and Deepspace accounts.
Conclusion
The game will find its fans, they will find interesting dialogues, fights, if you are trying to get rid of boredom then this game will be just right.
Good luck!
