After paying a fee, promoting a class will grant the following bonuses for that specific class:
- +1 Honor Badge
- +1 Active Perk Slot (once per Class only)

- Permanent ability to activate Machine Events with the Tritilyte Key for all Classes

You also receive a Badge of Honor after your first promotion, on your portrait, a brown border and one white star will appear in the upper left corner. Each subsequent promotion will add another white star, up to a maximum of three stars. After the fourth promotion, the border will change from bronze to silver, and the number of white stars will be reset to 1. After three more promotions are achieved, the border will change from silver to gold; then from gold to platinum; then from platinum to diamond; then finally from diamond to legend which is the highest limit of the Badge of Honor. The promotions that follow will not change the boundary, but will still allow the player to further increase the level of the character which you could say is uncapped.
