Story and World
You once again step into the boots of Henry – the blacksmith’s son from Skalitz – who continues his journey through the turmoil of the Kingdom of Bohemia following the dramatic events of the first game. This time, you’ll explore two vast new regions: the scenic Bohemian Paradise and the industrial powerhouse of Kutná Hora – one of the most important mining cities of the Middle Ages. Both regions feel alive, and the game world is roughly twice the size and detail of its predecessor.

Realism and Gameplay Mechanics
What sets this series apart is its unapologetic realism. There’s no magic or chosen one prophecy – you have to eat, sleep, maintain your gear, and learn to fight from the ground up. The physics-based combat system has been expanded with new weapons like crossbows and early firearms, which can now be used even on horseback.
The dialogue system has also been enhanced – your social status, reputation, and speech style have a real impact on how events unfold. Sometimes it’s better to reason with someone than to draw your sword.
Player Feedback
“This game isn’t for everyone. It doesn’t hold your hand, and it doesn’t forgive mistakes – but the satisfaction is huge. No other RPG has drawn me in this deeply. Kutná Hora looks amazing, and the quests are better written than in the first game.”
– MidKnightRider, Steam user review
Visuals and Sound
Visually, the game is a masterpiece. Every forest, city, and cave is crafted with stunning attention to detail. Character animations are smooth, and facial expressions look more natural than ever. The soundtrack, inspired by medieval melodies, perfectly complements the game’s atmosphere and adds to the immersion.

✅ Pros
- Impressively authentic medieval world

- Realistic RPG mechanics with meaningful choices
- New weapons and improved combat
- Gorgeous visuals and immersive sound design
❌ Cons
- High difficulty curve – not easy to get into

Final Score: 9/10
