And if you want to keep up to date:
Graphics and Realism
One of InZOI‘s main strengths is its use of Unreal Engine 5, delivering stunning visuals. The characters (Zois) look incredibly realistic, and the dynamic lighting and detailed textures make the game world resemble a real city. Unlike The Sims 4, which has a more cartoonish style, InZOI strives for hyperrealism.
Customization System
Players can create their Zois with over 250 customization options, including age, body type, and accessories. Additionally, the Character Studio tool allows AI-generated clothing patterns and color customizations.

Gameplay and Mechanics
In InZOI, you can build not just houses but entire cities! The game features an open world with a dynamic weather system, a crime mechanic, and an advanced career model. Zois can become firefighters, musicians, or even K-pop stars. An interesting feature is the afterlife system—characters can become ghosts and visit the “Zoi-heaven.”
AI and Generative Content
Krafton takes a step further by integrating AI for content creation. Generative tools allow players to create their own objects based on real-life photos, opening up nearly infinite customization possibilities.

Release Date and Platforms
The game will launch in Early Access on March 28, 2025, with U.S. players gaining access a day earlier on March 27, 2025. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will be released later. The minimum system requirements include an Intel i5-9600K and GTX 1660, but an RTX 3070 is recommended for full performance.

Player Comment
“For an Early Access game, InZOI offers an incredibly wide range of gameplay elements, interactions, objects, events, and even seasons. Something that EA constantly sells as expensive expansions for The Sims, InZOI provides from the start without additional charges. The two available worlds are beautiful, and the character creation mode is phenomenal. The build mode may be complex for players used to the more intuitive Sims system, but with patience, it’s very rewarding. Even if you’re not great at building, you can always use community-made creations in Canvas. Of course, there are still plenty of shortcomings—bugs, shallow relationships between Zois, non-playable careers, many decorative-only world elements, no ocean swimming, and limited animal interactions. The list goes on, but let’s not forget that this is EARLY ACCESS. The game has already shown a lot, and its potential is enormous. InZOI could become the best life simulator on the market.”
Summary and Rating
Can InZOI threaten The Sims? It certainly brings fresh air to the life simulation genre. With realistic graphics, immense gameplay freedom, and advanced customization tools, this title has huge potential. The key factor will be post-launch developer support and content expansion.
GameDive24 Rating: 8.5/10
Is it worth it? Yes, if you’re looking for a modern life simulator with extensive customization and an open world. However, if you prefer a more casual and humorous approach like The Sims, this might not be the game for you.
